چکیده

The highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) virus triggers infectious diseases, resulting in pulmonary damage and high mortality domestic poultry worldwide. This study aimed to analyze miRNA expression profiles after infection with the HPAI H5N1 resistant susceptible lines of Ri chickens. For this purpose, Vietnamese chicken were used based on A/G allele Mx BF2 genes. These genes are responsible for innate antiviral activity selected determine differentially expressed (DE) miRNAs HPAI-infected using small RNA sequencing. A total 44 3 days virus. Computational program analysis indicated candidate target possess significant functions related cytokines, chemokines, MAPK signaling pathway, ErBb Wnt pathway. Several DE miRNA-mRNA matches suggested play crucial roles mediating immune against viral evasion. results revealed potential regulatory response two lungs.

Pathogenicity of Genetically Similar, H5N1 Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza Virus Strains in Chicken and the Differences in Sensitivity among Different Chicken Breeds

Differences in the pathogenicity of genetically closely related H5N1 highly pathogenic avian influenza viruses (HPAIVs) were evaluated in White Leghorn chickens. These viruses varied in the clinical symptoms they induced, including lethality, virus shedding, and replication in host tissues. A comparison of the host responses in the lung, brain, and spleen suggested that the differences in viral...

Chlorine Inactivation of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza Virus (H5N1)

To determine resistance of highly pathogenic avian influenza (H5N1) virus to chlorination, we exposed allantoic fluid containing 2 virus strains to chlorinated buffer at pH 7 and 8, at 5 degrees C. Free chlorine concentrations typically used in drinking water treatment are sufficient to inactivate the virus by >3 orders of magnitude.

Mortality of wild swans associated with naturally infection with highly pathogenic H5N1 avian influenza virus in Iran

In the February 2006 in two wetlands in northern Iran, the mortality among wild swans was observed. Paralysis was the most prominent feature of the disease. Histologically, diffused necrosis of acinar cells in pancreas, degeneration and necrosis of some neurons in central nervous system (CNS), sever necrotic and hemorrhagic enteritis, foci of haemorrahge and myocardial cell necrosis in the he...

Genetically Different Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza A(H5N1) Viruses in West Africa, 2015

To trace the evolution of highly pathogenic influenza A(H5N1) virus in West Africa, we sequenced genomes of 43 viruses collected during 2015 from poultry and wild birds in 5 countries. We found 2 co-circulating genetic groups within clade 2.3.2.1c. Mutations that may increase adaptation to mammals raise concern over possible risk for humans.
